'A lot of students don’t feel that they have anyone to talk to if they feel stressed or pressurized.'
My campaign is to promote and improve the mental health and wellbeing of students. I’ve seen friends go through the pressures of school and drop out of courses because of stress. I’ve seen other people stay on but suffer from depression because of the stress of all the work. I think there needs to be a system to help young people cope.

Laura, this is awesome, well done! Good to see a couple of familiar faces! The students say one thing, the teachers another - it actually shows the value of your campaign by showing the gap between the reality of provision as staff see it, and the support students feel that they are actually getting. A lot of money is spent on this kind of thing, so if it's not right or not well-known enough the money needs to be better spent. xx

Hi Laura-Liz, I love your campaign, its fellow students like you who really inspire me to carry on with this hell hole called school, i want to escape this place more than anything, there's no support for us here especially not sixth formers(as you well know)... You are like a famous celeb, everyone knows of you, everyone has an opinion of you but regardless of that you always carry on and do whats right for others and you are so inspirational to me! :) I hope you get the grades you need for london :) - but i will miss you and all the amazing work you do for us here... lyl... Hi everyone! :) Thank you for your lovely comments and for sharing your experiances with me... I know school is hard for many people in their own ways, which is why i really need your support to help improve the support system for students - as although the campaign is about mental health and wellbeing, stress is the biggest cause of mental health in young people and is caused by many factors - which many of you have already indentified!... hope you are all well, and please remeber you are never alone... Hi Laura! your campaing is looking fantastic!! really good to see you making progress on this issue. I just had a thought; I'm not sure if your aware or not, but there is a qualfication available whereby pupils can receive - I think!! - an NVQ in mentoring, level 1. Maybe this will help you if you gather a team of people, get them trained to this standard (might need to find funding!) and then do a mini-tour of local schools in your area with this 'dream team' of yours and see how useful it is? Hope thats helpful!! Have a goood day! Chow 4 Now!

It's incredibly ironic that i have discovered this particular campaign, as if i hadn't been excluded from sixth form this morning i wouldn't have been watching channel four and watching the documentary on alex rose's campaign. My exclusion today is a perfect example of the pressure we recieve from school. My exclusion is both unjust and dismissive of the much more deep seated reasons for my actions. I truely admire what you're doing, Laura. In schools nowadays there's to much about exams and final grades, if a pupil does bad they're detained and ridiculed instead of supported to suit their needs. Maybe if the board of governers really took note of this there would be change; it's only ever when something really really bad happens that they bring in the outside help from councellers Good luck in all that you do. Regards, Jade xxx

School is way too stressful. I'm doing my GCSE's atm and it's way too hard. I have so much work and coursework piled on me almost everyday. And teens these days do have a lot of emotional stress outside of school and problems at home and they can't cope with the stress of school life and that. if i had the choice i'd drop out of my school but i can't.. grr. Anyways, I think i would like to campaign to stop PE being compulsary lol. Btw i have no idea who you are i only read the lil pink bit and only came on here coz i saw the add on TV but anyways your doing good so carry on luvy haha xx
