So for all my regular blog readers, let me make sense of the above for you!
Today, as part of the months of filming for the Channel4 Battlefront documentary, I visited the not-so-sunny-but-very-rainy Birmingham where I literally ran over to people crossing the road with earphones in!

You may or may not believe this but I literally witnessed 60+ young people walking across a very busy road and they were miles away in terms of concentration! So I approached them and spoke to them.

'Did you know distractions on the roads kill more young people than another other danger?'

They were shocked and slightly ashamed, this may have partly been because they had a big camera lense pointed in their direction but I was humbled to see how much they thought the campaign was NEEDED. Every person I spoke didn't realise that roads were the biggest killer of young people. Several young people didn't even realise that having their earphones in is putting their lives in danger...but as soon as i mentioned it, they took a step back (not literally) and pondered for second. Now if this light bulb moment can strike the same chord through my adverts and campaign posters, my job is done!

Maybe not so suprisingly, every young person thought that my adverts should take a serious hardhitting approach. Tomorrow Im meeting with several youth groups who are essentially my target audience...Speaking to them is the only way i can get my message across effectively as possible.
