Play Fair, Pay Fair

Popularity: this is the 7th most popular campaignFairtrade is an issue that I am passionate about and that I would love to increase awareness of in today’s society.
My first idea is that eventually the cheapest range of essential food stuffs (the “Basics” or “Economy” range) would be a Fairtrade range. This would mean that people wouldn’t need to make the decision to buy Fairtrade food: the most basic and cheapest range would already be Fairtrade. This would revolutionise the way we view our food, and where it has come from.
My other main idea is that children and teenagers would get used to buying and using Fairtrade products. There would be more products made that would appeal to a younger market. Companies have started making the move towards sourcing ethically and, with more demand for ethical products, companies would use more of these products.
Fairtrade products will not become everyday purchases unless we do something about it and, I think, we have to.
