My aim is to get expressive arts higher in the mainstream curriculum. Whether it's dance, drama, music or art, young people need a way to express their feelings which doesn't involve violence or crime. I also wish to educate that a life in expressive arts is enjoyable and not just about trying to become famous. This can be acheived by small grants from local companies whose money can be used wisely to bring expressive arts to the forefront of young people's lives by participating in workshops, after school clubs and local theatre companies.
