No more cuts for the elderly

Popularity: this is the 32nd most popular campaignWith cuts being made in today’s world where is it that these cuts should stop? One major cut that is being made is the taken away of home helps from the elderly. The government have decided that those who are elderly and who they think can cope on their own are not eligible for having a home help to come in even just once a week to help to tidy and do tasks. They are stripping elderly people from the only help some of them may get just to save money. Elderly people are the ones who have helped to get this country where it is today and who have shown respect for the country therefore should we not show respect back. These cuts are diminishing a service that is valued highly by the elderly, just a face coming in to see the elderly can make all the difference.
