Beautifully unique - the fight for disability awareness

If I had the opportunity to run my own campaign I would want to spread disability awareness, I am a registered young carer for my 19 year old sister Nancy and have experienced the prejudice she faces in her everyday life. In my campaign I would aim to spread the message of equality especially targeting the often intimidating youth of today. I wish to show that there are ways to help people with dissabilities without belittling or patronising them, that comments can be heard and that staring is hurtful. This is a topic I feel so passionately about and I would love the opportunity to make a change in this field! The photograph that I have submitted is one of me, Nancy (she has just had an opperation hence the black eye and bandage) and my dog.
