ABOUT
My campaign
I want to have smoking banned in cars that carry children under the age of 16. Some countries already ban smoking in cars but in the U.K. we don’t. It’s unfair to children who have no voice or choice about inhaling second-hand smoke.
My Campaign highlights
- Being featured in the Battlefront TV series on Tuesday 2nd December at 11.30am
- Working with branding agency, Dave, on a logo and animation for my campaign
- Putting on a publicity stunt involving a car, a smoke machine and a plastic doll

I was watching your campaign today on channel 4, I felt really inspired by your efforts, I also think it is really wrong for parents and other people to be smoking in cars where there are children inside, I hope your plan goes forward, as you have a very good campaign, keep up the good work xx

Great campaign, My parents were chain smokers and I now have a smokers diease and damaged lung due to my parents smoking and I've never smoked in my life. I now take the exact same medication as zander and I'm on it for the rest of my life. I love the ad and would love to put smokers in that car. Carry on Zander, your doing a great job. dawn

After watching your episode just now on channel 4 I feel like you do not have the right attitude to succeed with your campaign. I watched Alexander Rose's yesterday, and he is deeply passionate and driven. Being a 'last minute' person will get you nowhere far; your stunt would have been a flop had it not been for people around you doing the work. You care more about what happened to you as a child than what the public actually feels will benefit society. Good luck. Pull up your socks.

Why not put out the information and let the people decide, use medical FACTS instead of gimmicks. Trying to make it law will only turn smokers and car drivers into a resounding no vote.

I think it's fantastic what your doing, everytime i see a child in the back of a car breathing in all that smoke it just makes me feel angry because that child does not have a choice unlike the Smoker!!! I hope your campaign goes through successfully. Well done.

I used to smoke but have recently given up. I am completely behind the ban. I would never smoke in the car with any children in there, its wrong and people who do should be asshamed with themselves!!

I just watched your episode on Channel 4 and i totally agree! I suffer from Asthma, and although my family don't smoke, i don't agree that young children should be put into that situation. Keep up the great work! :D

I am currently watching your programme. I think what you are doing is great! None of my family smoke, but if they did I would be so angry! Smoking is pointless and stupid, it's immature in my eyes, why would you want to kill yourself just because of a dirty habit? Parents who do it around their children are stupid. I am 16 and have a 5month old daughter. I hate it when she goes to her Dad's grandparents as they smoke. Keep up the good work!! Jodie x

Smoking is irresponsible, and it is especially unfair for others around. Those that choose to smoke (kill themselves), should not do it around others, especially children as they are often too young to make decisions for themselves and even understand. So smoking is setting a terrible example, and also it is not just morally bad, but is killing the person smoking, and everyone around them. It needs to stop!

jus been observing all the comments people have put down on here an its funny how some of u humans think, smoking= painful death and non smoking = good mind good health. this campain is aimed to targer parents directly of course an exspecially young parents arround london since london has the highest teenage pregnancy record in the world. soo anyway i jus wana say the capaign doesnt tell u to put the computer on type battlefront.co.uk an leave a comment? you clearly made that choice by your own mind.This campaign will succeed, how do i know that i dont know but i wana think it does an if we all think this can help then imagine the differences u can make to yourselves im outter here ppl enjoy life an remember this comment if your brain his big enough an by thge way smoking wipes away heaps brain cells away soo that means u probably wont b able the memorise this comment an thank you for sacaraficing your time to read this comment
