As if having a friend in Alexandra Burke wasn’t enough for Hope and Abby, the campaigning duo have just bagged another influential follower on Twitter, only Sarah 'Mrs Gordon' Brown!
Mrs B is no stranger to awesome campaigns – she’s a big supporter of lots of them including White Ribbon Alliance’s fight to reduce the number of mothers who die in pregnancy or childbirth, and she also founded the children’s charity PiggyBankKids.
Sarah’s follow list on Twitter reads like a who’s who of campaigning powerhouses and interest groups, and notable recent additions to that list include none other than Abby’s own Twitter account, and the main Sign Up, Speak Up, Save Lives account. Pardon us while do some serious whooping right about now.
Now, if we can just figure out a way to get Sarah and her million or so Twitter friends to check out the campaign’s sign up page. Hmm...
