He wanted to encourage people to Meet Their Street and see the benefits it has on breaking down prejudices, lowering crime and creating a real sense of community.

His campaign went down a storm. He devised Pass On a Pumpkin and Pass On a Pie, calling upon people to take pumpkins/pies round to their neighbours’ house at Halloween and Christmas. With the help of celebs and press coverage, both stunts were a huge success – leading to interest from none other than a national food manufacturer and retailer who have since been in talks with Alex about adopting the Pass On a Pie concept.

At the end of Battlefront 2, Alex took Olly Murs back to his hometown in Essex, where the pair recruited locals to help them make a World record-breaking 400 cups of tea within an hour, all to show the benefits of getting to know your neighbours. The stunt was filmed for one of the Battlefront TV shows on T4.
