Road traffic accidents are a major killer of young people, and unless we do something about it the statistics are only going to get worse. I personally know people who’ve been killed in road traffic accidents. The worst thing is that there are easy steps that can be taken to save lives – like not listening to MP3 players when you are crossing the road.
- Meeting Asian ragga star, Apache Indian
- Meeting mentor, David Bowles
- Working with the advertising agency, VCCP, on my campaign logo
- Appearing in a live debate for BBC1’s The Politics Show
- Giving a talk at Gordon Brown’s Chain Reaction event in London
- Getting top photographer, Andy Barter, to support my campaign
- Put my posters and stickers in your local record shops, schools and youth clubs
- Stop listening to MP3 players while you’re crossing the road!
- Find me an unsigned band to make a pop video/ campaign viral with
- Join me in my big stunt coming up next year...

Hey, I saw your programme on TV, it's a great idea. I listen to my music a lot when out walking, but you have a point. I absolutely agree that car accidents are a bigger killer of people. I lost my brother, Joe Grunwell last year in a car crash; he was 16. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm glad somebody has the courage to stand up for this issue. Take care ^_^.

Couldnt sleep lastnight and caught your program about your campaign Tune into traffic. I was so impressed with your ideas andthe way you were taking the campaign! I wish you all the luck in the world!! I live down in Oxford and 1 thing that i thought you could do with your campaign is go to Freshers week at the uni's and also put posters in school canteen and uni bars. Why not approach bars that students go to.Its only ideas i had while watching your program,if you have already done this forget the above :) Takecare and goodluck! If you need anybody to hand posters out to uni's in Oxford please dont hesitate to contact me as i think this is a campaign worth backing Simon

Caught your programme early this morning, by accident. I was very impressed to see the progress you have made with your campaign. Very glad to see that a young person is taking such an interest in educating other young people. As a mother of young adults now and very close to my community, I think you are adrressing a important issue about safety for young people and taking personal responsibility to address the gaps. I am myself a campaigner and activist on disability, you can visit us on facebook at [email protected]. You look like you have a bright future ahead of you and will have great social change. Good luck

Manpreet, I was holidaying in London and saw your efforts on TV last week. I am back now in Sydney but the program still has me thinking - some great ideas in your camapign and also in the overall Battlefront approach. Not only was I impressed by your campaign, but you also came across as a really good bloke! Well done, and hope it all goes well for you.
Brad, 10 December 2008 23:06
Hey Manpreet I heard about ur campaign and saw the documentary on TV. I just want to say that i think ur campaign is really good and can make a big difference because i myself hav noticed how being on the phone can distract u from the road as i have done it myself. Keep up the good work!
