This is perfect. I agree, depriving oneself of life's little luxuries like a doughnut is not worth being a size zero!

'Who wants to be a size zero, anyway?'
I want to make women feel happier about themselves and more positive about their own body image. I don't want to discriminate against woman who are naturally a size zero, but I want to make sure that images of woman who are NOT a natural size zero in the media do not affect other women's personal body image.

I am a curvy size 16 girl who always thought I was TOO BIG !!! I was sooo wrong it's whats inside that counts and anyone who cant see that does not deserve the attention !!!!
Sharlee , 14 May 2009 19:49
i am a plus size model at size 12-14 and tbh, i think the amount of pressure on people to be thin is ridiculous ! you don't have to be thin to be beautiful! but being overweight or underweight is extremely unhealthy. whereas majority of girls who are worried about their weight are the right size for their build and height. so well done for making the awareness of this pressure us girls (and some boy's) have to face a big thing ! shea x aged 14 xoxo

your campaign is truly brilliant, i hate the way people let body image rule their lives and become obsessive about carbs or fats or whatever, risking their health and well being on stupid diets, there are far more important things in life than if tyouve got a bit of a spare tyre!!! the world is trying to be like the people you see in magasines, but they are so airbrushed it doesnt depict real women or men, real images, think of some of the best looking people you know, are they the skiniest? probably not, if we carry on the way were going we are going to be a nation of boy-like, infertile, diet addicts, so BRING ON THE CARBS!!!
Louse, 13 May 2009 12:07
Im naturally really skinny. size 6 to 8 and just under 8 stone even though i eat lots. im always gettin asked if im anorexic or bulemic as people cant understand y i seem to have so much trouble gainin weight. its made me really self conscious & jealous of u girls that have curves. its a known fact guys love girls with healthy figures and plenty of curves so seriously stop givin skinny girls such hard times. were all as self conscious as miserable as each other. :/
Sharon, 13 May 2009 00:03
hi i think this campaign is brilliant and i support it one hundred percent, do u have a facebook???
Charlie, 12 May 2009 11:57
This is a brilliant campaign! I have always hated the focus there is on what people (especially women) look like. Why should skinny be better? Underweight is unhealthy, same as overweight is. I spent a lot of my childhood underweight due to illness, so it was drilled into me that I am too skinny and need to gain weight. When I was a teen I realised that my thinking was the opposite of almost everyone else. People aren't sympathetic if you want to gain weight, they're envious even if you have body issues same as those who think they're overweight.
Cathy, 12 May 2009 10:37
Love this campaign Rachel. Keep up the good work!
Baz, 11 May 2009 00:47
whenever i feel fat or unconfident i watch some like it hot. marilyn looked beautiful and curvaceous, she inspires me towards carbs!
gemma, 10 May 2009 16:46
I'll start by saying i really respect what your attempting to do & that someone is making the effort to change and help the self image pandemic. I think you should have a wider range of people your talking to, so diffrent ages and sizes.. it'd be really good to have like a group debate of girls and boys of all diffrent ages videoed for here. I also think your photoshoot is extremley beautiful yet doesn't really back up your angle as you are both very slim girls, i would be useful and more worthwhile to your campaign to have say size 6, 10 ,14 & 16.. rather then two girls who are naturally beautiful and slim. love x

Hi Rachel / Angus I have been looking forward to reading Angus's blogs from the male point of view. Please can you let me know when we can expect them as I think it is a really great idea to hear it from the male side!
caroline , 15 April 2009 11:14
Hi Rachel Its a great message - ive also come across a pageant that promotes real beauty in all shapes and sizes: www.missrealbeauty.com - maybe you should talk to them about how you can get involved with what their doing x
Emma, 04 April 2009 14:34
Victoria... this isn't a hate campaign! Good luck, Rachel!!
Alice, 19 March 2009 11:41
Lauren - I can't speak for Kelly but I am a healthy size zero with video evidence; look up the documentary "Living With Size Zero", I was seen by a doctor (one of many) who confirmed I am neither malnourished nor unhealthy in any way. So maybe the hate campaign can stop now?
Victoria, 11 March 2009 15:58
Cool, Thank you I've added you
