Becky and Siobhan
This is the 9th most popular campaign
15p a day, changes someone’s life, forever. You’re needed more than you’ve ever been needed before. This ‘someone’ is a child from the notoriously poor and violent slum of Pumwani on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. They lack the money to go to school, imagine this was you: your parents have no money for food or clothes, education isn’t a free privilege, you have to work everyday in crime or prostitution, your parents died of aids, you’re beaten each day within an inch of your life. You’re HIV+. Each child has a story, and are desperately seeking a happy ending. What angers us is that the happy endings are scarce. Educating a child changes lives, so they are better equipped to change the world. Let’s believe this can happen! Gather you small change and let’s join together to make one BIG change. Who would’ve thought 15p could be so precious?
I think this is a very worthwhile project and I one to really get behind so they have my full support.

Yep, great stuff girls, totally supporting you all the way. You make it seem so simple, which it actually is! Almost as if something should have been done about it already, but tragically it hasn't. Time for action methinks...

I hope you guys win - such a worthy cause! I think it is so easy to be comfortable and sit in our Western bubble hanging onto the maxim that 'Charity begins at home'. It really doesn't. What can 15p buy us in England, half a chocolate bar? Small change means so little to us that we can forget, or genuinely just not realise, how much it can mean to someone in the developing world. Vote for this campaign to burst our western bubble and help those who truly need and deserve out help!

Float your boat? Do you like the cut of Becky and Siobhan's jib? Then do something about it. Voting, preferably, not a small dance. The 10 campaigns with the most votes end up before the wise and bewigged Battlefront judges, who’ll pick our 20th campaigner.
So get behind the issues that matter most to you. You have until 8 October to cast your votes.
Everyone loves a nice badge. Especially badgers, for whom they are the primary source of income. Those furry little craftsmen have knocked up a particularly natty Battlefront one which you can stick on Bebo, MySpace, Facebook or your own website to show your support.
Just copy and paste the code below into your website – just like embedding a YouTube player – and then anyone who clicks it will be sent to the Battlefront site, and your page will look at least ninety times as snazzy.
I think it's these small organizations that make the difference. I have studied this type of thing and know about how big notions about making poverty history can seem impractical. Which is why it think this small campaign is the perfect one to get behind. people gotta see the light, be intelligent and vote for these girls. bless xxx
