David John Roche
This is the 41st most popular campaign
Aim : I want people across the country to, only once a day, say something nice to someone who they may have been bad to, appreciate other peoples opinions or even just talk things through. Just generally show some respect to others. I'm sick of communities like the one in my town fighting becuase people can't show respect for one another out of the clothes they wear, sexuality or ethnicity - any sort of respect of other cultures would do you, or anyone the world of good. I'd like to see events (maybe concerts or talks in the community) where people could enjoy some things they might not understand. Learn about them and learn to respect them through these events: once people understand why some people enjoy things they don't then there might be an ease in tensions. I just want people to show some respect.
Float your boat? Do you like the cut of David John Roche's jib? Then do something about it. Voting, preferably, not a small dance. The 10 campaigns with the most votes end up before the wise and bewigged Battlefront judges, who’ll pick the lucky campaign to appear on the next Battlefront TV series.
So get behind the issues that matter most to you. You have until midday 30 March to cast your votes.
Everyone loves a nice badge. Especially badgers, for whom they are the primary source of income. Those furry little craftsmen have knocked up a particularly natty Battlefront one which you can stick on Bebo, MySpace, Facebook or your own website to show your support.
Just copy and paste the code below into your website – just like embedding a YouTube player – and then anyone who clicks it will be sent to the Battlefront site, and your page will look at least ninety times as snazzy.
Hi david, Just thought I'd let you know that we're currently looking for our next lot of Battlefronters. If you are still interested, please get in touch via the link on the front page of the website or e-mail me direct. Cheers, Angie
