Hey Guys!Teenagers Against Discrimination (T.A.D) is a group aimed at changing the typical stereotype that Teens are faced with. And no... as is often claimed we are not just a group of moaning teenagers! We are just a small group... we are proud of what we have already achieved - especially as we from a small town! We started in February... in May we held our first community event, raising £800 for Charity. We have helped out in all community opportunities that we can, eager to publicise the good that teenagers can do, and have done.We are always looking for ways to further our cause, ways in which to publicise our method further... all we ask now, is help us... and we will continue to try and help you!

Awareness of mental health issues in teens 4 fans

I'm a 16 year old student who has suffered with mild depression for about 2 years. My dad suffers from major depression as well and it has a huge impact on our lives, and probably hasn't helped me with my depression.I believe that if teens had more support and there was more awareness about young people with mental health issues, then many teens would not have to suffer in silence, and could get the support they need. This could decrease the amount of young people suffering and could improve performance in education. I believe that this is an issue that needs the public awareness so more support can be given to these people as mental health problems can be so degrading and can cause serious problems in their education and their future. Please help this campaign :]

The aim of the campaign is to disable the 'disability' stereotype to show that people with disabilities are just people. Ordinary people. No-one deserves ridicule or to be overlooked, and that is hopefully what this campaign will demonstrate. Check out the pages on YouTube/Facebook/Twitter to show your support!

I am a Dance student in my second year at college. As part of the course I have had to spend one hour a week in an integrated dance class with young people who have severe mental and physical disabilities. The class has opened my eyes to what they can do, and how much joy they get out of doing something they love. Because of this, I applied for, and was given the job of assistant dance teacher at my local council-run arts venue, where I did the same job with a different group of people.I have grown close to both of my groups and can now see that they are "not just the tree in the corner", but on a stage, can be the brightest star to shine. The campaign is to get people to see just how much these young people can do, regardless of any conditions or symptoms they might have.
