My name is Rebecca, and I am a 17 year old media student from South West England. I think it is about time that the government reevaluate how important the arts are, and how influential they can be. I also think that as students, we all have a right to know whether issues such as graduate tax will be introduced, and instead of setting doubts in our mind regarding Higher Education, support all of us in getting there.

LABELS DON'T DEFINE IS THE NAME OF MY CAMPAIGN I want to show that people are more than what they look like or what they do. I want to show that youth are more than the negative label handed to them by the media and members of the adult society we live in. My little brother has a disability, he is downsyndrome, my mother also works in a special needs school so i have many friends with a disablity, i want to show that just because a person has a disablity doesn't make them anyless of a member of society than somebody regarded not to have one. The world in which we live im is very judgemental but i wan to prove and show that we can break some of this down. I want to help build bridges within scoiety and reach out to all the different cultures, races and genders.

End discrimination. Thousands of people are discriminated against because of their ethnic background, gender, sexuality and beliefs as-well as numerous other things. Many of this discrimination is brought about by the existence of groups and political parties like the BNP. These fascist groups actively campaign in support of racism and homophobia. Let's put an end to this, and call for an end to the discrimination of people based on ethnicity, sexuality, and belief. I want the UK government to formulate legislation to prevent the discrimination of people based on their membership (or perceived membership) of certain social groups.
