I am a Dance student in my second year at college. As part of the course I have had to spend one hour a week in an integrated dance class with young people who have severe mental and physical disabilities. The class has opened my eyes to what they can do, and how much joy they get out of doing something they love. Because of this, I applied for, and was given the job of assistant dance teacher at my local council-run arts venue, where I did the same job with a different group of people.I have grown close to both of my groups and can now see that they are "not just the tree in the corner", but on a stage, can be the brightest star to shine. The campaign is to get people to see just how much these young people can do, regardless of any conditions or symptoms they might have.

Having studied Media Studies, I am aware of the dangers we young people face daily in society. Having the 'ideal' size 0 figure thrust at us on a number of formats, it leaves us vulnerable to suffering from low self-esteem, reduced levels of confidence, and sometimes even eating disorders. My campaign is to both raise awareness, and to help our young sufferers, and those interested become more involved in the community, and be able to speak out about the effects these devastating illnesses have on not only their own lives, but of their loved ones also. I plan to get this heard as much as possible, and also for more help and guidance given to those out there so desperately in need of support.

I want to hold gigs everynight for a week in the heart of London and possibly other venues around the country to enable people to connect with the music and be inspired by the artist's passion and the passion from the fans. I want people to feel energised and creative after the gigs and to feel happier. Everybody can enjoy and relish in listening to music, especially live. Good music is good no matter what type of music it is. I want to get more people listening to a variety of music and to experience the raw emotions that come with seeing an artist live. It can also allow people to bond with one another and maybe even encourage them to do something exhilarating and want to achieve something.

You're at school, and are being bullied. You feel like you have nobody that understands you. You're sent to the school nurse, and your friends do not believe you. So who do you turn to?

Hi, My name is lucy, I am from a little town called leeds in the north of England, I have a passion for tea, I guess. As a teenager, I understand what it's like to have issues. And I know what you're thinking, ''they are just whiny, they will grow out of it!'' but some times, these issues can effect teenagers more then they may realise. My campaign centrals around the health & welfare of young teenagers in britain that have to tackle social issues on a daily basis. Issues such as Depression, Self harm, Eating Disords, Peer Pressure, etc. The list seems endless and young people are constantly indulged & reminded of these issues in the media. However are never really given a place to express their feelings towards these issues. Infact I have found there is no real resource for young people to speak out if they feel affected. But this shall all change!
