Hi everyone! Yesterday was our first day of campaigning on our mega campaign trail of the Midlands and we started off in Nottingham.
The sun was shining and we had an amazing support team with us - a lovely girl called Millie, who was on work experience, and Mary Kate who also applied to run a campaign on the same issue of youth unemployment.
Armed with an iPad, thousands of flyers and some battlefront t-shirts, we set off to gain as much as support as we could and spread the word about our campaign. Check out the vid here:
It was a lot harder than our recent sign up spree in Leeds as people were chilling on the beach that had been set up in the Market Square, but we still managed to speak to some really interesting people about their experiences with job hunting.
We even recorded a soundbite about Olly Murs to be played on Capital FM but unfortunately we weren't allowed to give our names away!
As we were in his hometown, Richard from Find The Sport You Love come down to see us. Thanks, Rich!
All we can say for now is that the footage of our busy day will be up soon so watch out for that. Right now we're sitting in a cafe in the Bullring writing this, then it's off for day two of our campaign tour.
To find out where we'll be, keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and if you're around, please do come and say hello! And if you're really keen, or looking for a good deed to do for the day, do consider pledging your support for our campaign.
