Anastasia’s campaign was devoted to lowering the voting age to sixteen.
She wanted to abolish the negative stereotype often burdened on young people and allow the future generation’s voices to be heard loud and clear.
On her mission, Anastasia took her campaign to some hugely influential people, such as Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg. And at The Battlefront Debate, at Channel 4 studios, Anastasia opened proceedings by asking the panel and audience how it can possibly be right that at 16, people are old enough to go to war for the country but not old enough to vote in it. Her question received huge cheers of support.
