Forget the Oscars, today’s big awards news is that Battlefront has been nominated an International Digital Emmy!

After scooping one in 2009, Team BF could add a second Emmy to its gong cabinet this year, should we manage to fend off stiff competition in the Children & Young People category. We’re up against innovative digital-tastic projects from Norway, New Zealand and Turkey.

In addition to Battlefront, Channel 4 has also been nominated for Embarrassing Bodies, which will go head-to-head with the likes of X Factor in the Non Fiction category at the Digital bash.

The International Digital Emmy Awards takes place in Cannes on April 4.
