Ella's LTD fest was a real success!

Yesterdays LTD Fest, part of Ella’s Let’s Talk Disability campaign, was a massive success with people turning out in their hundreds to watch a wicked line up of both disabled and non disabled acts.

Hosting the event with T4’s Jameela Jamil, Ella looked every bit the pro as she told the crowd all about her campaign and its messages of integration.

Jameela then compared the many acts, which included legendary Punk Rock Band Heavy Load, BBC star Jazz Morley, and Ella’s friends band The 40 Thieves, who got everyone up and dancing.

One of the many highlights was watching three of the country’s leading Beat boxers take on a former Young Drummer of the Year for some freestyling, with some impromptu wheelchair dancing from a festival goer.

As well as getting so many young people thinking about issues surrounding disability, Ella also got the chance to interview one of her idols, the famous artist Alison Lapper.

For those who weren’t lucky enough to join Ella yesterday at Proud Camden, check back in over the next week to watch exclusive clips of the performers.

And to big up Ella’s amazing work and show your support, head over to her campaign page here.

Nice one Ella!
